For country artists, one of the busiest weeks of the year happens in the midst of downtown Nashville when country fans worldwide ascend on the city to celebrate their love for the genre. From autograph signings to fan club parties to performances, fans can spot their favorite country stars any and everywhere, but rarely get a glimpse of what goes on behind-the-scenes.
“For Her” singer Chris Lane let Sounds Like Nashville hang with him on Day 2 of the 2017 CMA Music Festival (6/9) and showed us what goes down as he prepares to entertain thousands of fans down at the Chevrolet Riverfront stage.
Ahead of his performance, Lane chatted with several excited fans, some first timers and others who’ve caught his show for the last four years at CMA Fest. While he spent some time having fun, the singer got down to business when it came time to hit the stage and strut his stuff. Dedicated fans lined the fence in front of the stage and sang along with each song.
